This tour is a fast and comfortable one to visit the rare mountain Gorillas of Bwindi. The journey is shortened by internal flight from Entebbe to Kihihi. Clients are able to experience Gorillas and have a chance to tour communities around Bwindi national park.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Uganda

Upon arrival to Uganda, you will be met by our safari guide or representative at Entebbe International airport who will thereafter transfer you to Karibu Guest House Entebbe for an overnight stay on bed and breakfast basis. Your safari guide will brief you on how the whole itinerary will be done.

Day 2Flight from Entebbe to Bwindi National Park

After having a morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for a morning flight to Kihihi airstrip. A Kihihi you will be met by our guide who will transfer you to Bwindi. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park houses the largest population of the world’s remaining population of the rare mountain Gorillas. As soon as you arrive into the park, you will check in and enjoy lunch. You may take an optional community tour in the evening.

Day 3Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After morning breakfast, you will set off to the park headquarters with your well packed lunch. You will meet rangers who will separate you into different groups based on the Gorilla family you have been allocated to track; you will then follow the Gorilla trails with your ranger and start the Gorilla tracking activity. During the Gorilla tracking experience, you may also encounter other different primate species. You will you will be given an hour with the Gorillas to take pictures and videos. Later in the evening time permitting, you will visit the local Batwa communities for a cultural experience. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Haven Lodge Buhoma in Bwindi.

Day 4Drive to Kihihi, flight to Entebbe and departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kihihi airstrip to take a morning flight back to Entebbe. At Entebbe you shall connect with your departure flight to Masai Mara.
