Upon arrival to Uganda, you will be met by our safari guide or representative at Entebbe International airport who will thereafter transfer you to Papyrus Guest House Entebbe for an overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis. Your safari guide will brief you on how the whole itinerary will be done.

After your morning breakfast, you will meet your safari guide and start a drive to Jinja through the tropical rain forest of Mabira with patches of plantations as you head for the white-water rafting experience. Arrive in time and proceed to the rafting point and start the thrilling activity you will live to remember. After this memorable experience, you will check-in at Haven Lodge and relax.

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and drive to Mbale town further east of Uganda. Located in the foreground of Mount Elgon, Mbale is also partially fenced by Wanale ridge. You will take a tour of the town, hike to Wanale ridge and also visit Sisiyi falls; all around Mbale town. In the evening you will drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, you will leave Mbale town and proceed to Kapkwai forest in Kapchorwa. You will be briefed at the forest headquarters before embarking on a guided forest walk. While in the forest you will encounter numerous indigenous birds, primates and bush animals of the Mt. Elgon region. After lunch, you will take another hike to Sipi waterfalls. You may enjoy a dip in the cool mountain waters. As you return from the walk, you will visit a coffee farm. Afterwards, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, you will depart from Mbale and start your drive to Kidepo valley national park. The journey will expose you to the beautiful green scenery of Uganda and you may take a few stops for photography. You will have along the way.
You will arrive in Kidepo valley national park in the evening and check in at your accommodation for dinner. The park is one of the least explored parks in Uganda and boasts of large herds of wildlife and picturesque landscapes.

After breakfast, you will enter the park for a full day game drive. In the company of a ranger guide, you will search the plains for herds of buffalo, antelopes, giraffe. You will also look out for lions, leopard, hyena, jackals and ostriches. You will proceed to Kanangorok valley where you tour the hot springs and walk around them. You will return to your accommodation in the evening.

You will have a guarded morning walking tour of the park which is perfect for birding enthusiasts. You will also come up close to zebras and other animals in the park. You will return to the lodge and relax. In the evening, you will have a community tour of the Karamojong. Experience and learn about the culture of the people and check out their traditional tools and homesteads. You will also learn about their nomadic way of life.

After breakfast you will head to Murchison falls national park. You will take a detour to Aruu falls along the way. Enjoy picture moments on the calm falls. You will have lunch along the way. Arrive at Murchison falls national park in the evening. You will have a game drive on your way to your accommodation inside the park. Murchison Falls is Uganda’s largest national park and is also found in the thunderous Murchison waterfalls on the River Nile.

After breakfast, you will head to the park for the game drive. You will have an opportunity of viewing different animals which include elephants, warthogs, zebras, hypos to mention but a few. After lunch, you will proceed for the boat cruise to the bottom of the falls with chances of meeting many animal species along the banks of the Nile River. You will thereafter proceed for the top of the falls hike to the point where the Nile River explodes violently forming a very powerful waterfall. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Murchison River Lodge (FB).

You will set off for Kibale forest national park in the morning. This park also boasts the highest concentration of primates than any other park in the world. You will have a stopover at Fort portal for lunch, thereafter proceed to the park for dinner and overnight stay at Kibale forest camp (Full board basis).

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Kanyanchu tourist centre for briefing before proceeding with chimpanzee tracking. Aside from the Chimpanzees, the incredibly diverse forest is home to over 13 species of primates including the rare L’Hoest, red Colobus monkey, blue monkey, black-faced vervet monkeys, grey mangabey, pottos, baboons and also bush babies. Kibale forest has a network of shady flora trails that provide much to delight botanists and butterfly lovers, while birders are in for a treat with about 335 species recorded including the endemic Prirogrine’s ground thrush.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Bigodi wetlands for the swamp walk and birding experience. You may encounter different bird species including the rare papyrus Gonolek that may be spotted. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Kibale Forest Camp (FB).

This morning you will drive to Semliki national park and have a guided nature walk to Sempaya hot springs. The park bears remain of volcanic events that happened in the past. It is also home to hundreds of Albertine birds’ species and primates. You might be able to spot some chimpanzees on your way. On your return you will take numerous sightseeing stops on the way and at Amabeere ga Nyinamwiru caves. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will pass through a beautiful crater region where you may stop for photo opportunities. The park is blessed with an abundance of wildlife, beautiful scenery and landscape. Upon arrival into the park, you will proceed for an evening game drive in the park for an encounter with different animal species residing in the park. Later in the evening, you will check-in at your lodge, have dinner and overnight at Bush Lodge (Full board basis).

You will start this day with an early morning game drive in the park, looking for different animal and bird species. This park hosts a variety of wildlife that includes buffaloes, kobs, and elephants, Waterbucks, as well as different bird species. Later in the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise after your lunch. The boat cruise at the Kazinga channel takes you through possibly the highest concentration of hippos, crocodile and different bird species. You will also see many elephants and buffaloes drinking at the water’s edges. You will return to the lodge afterwards.

This morning you will drive to the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park. Here you will have a game drive to search for tree-climbing lions and large herds of buffalo, elephant and antelopes. In the evening you will check-in at your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

You will start this day with another game drive in the Ishasha sector. On your way out of the park, you will visit communities on the border of Queen Elizabeth national park. Learn how they coexist with wild animals. You will also visit a local school and attend class with the pupils. Afterwards, you will proceed with your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Upon arrival here, you will check in to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will set off to the park headquarters with your packed lunch. You will meet rangers who will separate you into different groups based on the Gorilla family you have been allocated to track; you will then follow the Gorilla trails with your ranger and start the Gorilla tracking activity. During the Gorilla tracking experience, you may also encounter other different primate species. Once the Gorillas have been tracked, you will be given an hour with the Gorillas taking pictures and videos. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge in Bwindi.

Lake Bunyonyi region is one of the most beautiful areas in Uganda and is ideal for relaxing. The journey from Bwindi is adorned with beautiful terraces and rolling hills. At Lake Bunyonyi you will check-in and relax at your accommodation.

Today you shall relax at the lake. You may choose to do some of the following optional activities; take a canoe boat tour of the islands, biking, community walks and adventure zip-lining across the lake.

You will depart Lake Bunyonyi in the morning headed for Lake Mburo national park. This a park which is well known for birding, hiking, horseback riding and all this will give you a great experience. Upon reaching you will check into the lodge and then go for a sunset game drive later in the evening. You will have an opportunity of enjoying different animal sightings including nocturnal animals on a sunset game drive.

Early morning you will head to the park for a nature walk which will give you an opportunity of experiencing fresh breath, vegetation the ecosystem the bird species. You will be in the company of guards and ranger guides for better sightings. Afterwards, you will head back to the lodge to freshen up and have breakfast before returning to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight.
